GREAT WALL, CHINA

Great wall is a building in China. This building is a giant and very long wall with pedestrian at the top of the wall. The pedestrian wide are about 5 m. In each specific distance there are surveillance tower with 11-12m height. The wall are made from soil brick.

THE INCREDIBLE GREAT WALL OF CHINA is its length. The length of the wall ofChina is about 6400 km. Imagine how many times the distance of Jakarta, Surabaya?Distance jakarta surabaya just not up to 900 km.


The China Great wall was built to prevent attack from north enemy (Monggolian). Those Wall are made step by step within hundred years from one king to other king from one dynasty to other dynasty.

BANDA ACEH FLOATING ELECTRIC GENERATOR

Genset float is a ship built as a place of diesel power plants. The goal is thisgenerator can be moved from one place to another in need electricity where the areais not getting electricity. This is important considering that Indonesia is an archipelagic country.


What is interesting from the generator set adrift in Banda Aceh was the site generator is not floating at sea, but was far inland. Why did it happen?

Ragunan Zoo

Ragunan zoo is a favorite alternatif tourism destination. The age of this zoo is old enough. At begining the zoo was placed at Cikini, was built at 1864. At 1966 was move to Ragunan southern Jakarta.

Animal collection consist of more than hundred species and more than thousand animals.

There are many big tree make a shady and cool condition. The big trees are also home for non collection zoo animal like monkeys, bird, chipmonk etc.

Ragunan zoo is good place for tourism and education.

How to get there

There are four entrance gate to enter Ragunan zoo. Main entrance or south entrance are located at  Harsono street. West entrance are located at west Margasatwa street. South entrance are located at Sagu street and East gate located at Kebagusan street.

If you used your private vehicle, you better enter from main gate, because there are some parking area available. 

You can use public transportation by using busway korider 6, its rute are Kuningan-Ragunan.

During long holiday there are very crowded. Trafic jam can reached 1 km long.

SAFARI PARK CISARUA

Safari Park is located at Cibereum village, Cisarua, West Jawa.It is lies on the slope of  Gede-Pangrango Mountain at elevation 1100-1400 m. Average Temperature is about 18* s/d 24* C. Safari Park located about 20 km from Bogor or 78 km from Jakarta.

Basically Safari Park is a zoo.The different is animal is not put in a cage, but visitor are place in a cage in their vehicle to see animal closely.

Safari park are divide in two part, area; wild beast animal area and tamed animal area. In tamed animal area visitor can open the vehicle window and give food to animal. On wild beast animal area there are a door that can open and close automatically when vehicle pass through the door.

BENTENG AMPERA PALEMBANG TOURISM AREA

 

Benteng tourism area are located beside Musi River Palembang South Sumatra. There are several tourism object on that area consist of :

1. Benteng Kuto Besak

Benteng/Fort Kuto besak is a building ex 17 century era palace that the centre of Palembang kingdom. Recently this building are used for Sriwijaya Military Commando (Kodim).

4. Palembang Grand Mosque

Palembang grand mosque also call Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Mosque. This mosque is the biggest mosque in Palembang. This mosque is Palembang kingdom heritage, was built in 1738 to 1748. The Mosque had several time renovation and extension.

The Museum is lie above benteng kuto lama. This Benteng/fort had been placed by dutch until it made to became a museum.

6. Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat (MONPERA)

Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat (People Fighting Monument) was built for memorized fighting of South Sumatra People when they fight against colonialism  in 1 January 1947 . It is known as five day five night battle.

NABAWI MOSQUE MADINAH, A RELIGIOUS JOURNEY

Madinah is a second holly city for moslem after Mekah. Madinah called Madinah Al Munawaroh. Madinah mean city, Al Munawaroh mean shin, so it mean shine city. It is called like that is because from this city prophet Muhammad spread Islamic religion to all over the world.

One of the main features of the city of Medina is the presence of Nabawi mosque.
Nabawi mosque is the holiest mosque for Muslims after the Grand Mosque in Mecca.

Superiority of Nabawi Mosque compare to another Mosque :

- Pray in Nabawi mosque is 1000 times better than other mosque except Haram mosque in Mekah (in Haram mosque 100,000 times better).

- There are Raudhah inside Nabawi mosque. In a Hadith is mentioned "In between the house and my tribune there  is Raudhah (park) from Riyadh (the parks) heaven. "

- In a Hadith mentioned "Whoever prays in my mosque forty times as much as not lost, it will be noted freedom from hell, freedom from torture, and heavoid of hypocrisy.

Nabawi mosque was built at Rasulullah SAW era. The size about 50 m x 50 m. On one side of the outer mosque was built the residence of the Prophet Muhammad that are not too big. At the time of death, the prophet was buried at his residence.

Nabawi had several renovation and extention. Recently the grave of prophet Muhammad SAW is inside the mosque. Beside the grave are also burried Abu Bakar and Umar bin Khatab.

Nabawi mosque is second largest most of the world after Haram Mosque in Mekah. Capaity of Nabawi mosque are 600,000 people.

Nabawi mosque are equipped with air conditioning, so we can pray with comfort.

Domes at the Nabawi mosque can be shifted to open and close for air and light circulation. In the middle of the mosque, the roof is made of a giant umbrella that can open and close. Currently, the courtyard mosque are equipped with a giant umbrella. In addition,several mosques have ornaments are coated with gold so that the atmosphere insidethe mosque is very beautiful.

For a man to make visits to raudhah any time, while for women there are certain hours.When the writer visited the mosque is not open 24 hours and visits to rhaudah forwomen are only allowed when Duha until about noon.

The authors make a visit during Hajj season in 2000. Create the writer himself is like a dream trip. This is because the intention of Hajj appeared suddenly, and it was the Indonesian people not out of the very severe monetary crisis, including upon the writer himself. Praise  to God's for all our blessing, his grace and guidance, so the writer is given the ease of performing the Hajj. Alhamdulillah after Hajj, all the treasure that is spent in Allah's way are Allah rewarded with multiple and always ease its luck.
